§ 24-2.202. Census Tracts Used.

Latest version.
  • The supervisorial districts are described by reference to census tracts (CT), census blocks, and block groups used in the 2010 federal decennial census as established by the U.S. Bureau of the Census and filed with the conservation and development director, the exterior boundaries of which are the boundaries of each supervisorial district, except where partial tracts are designated by reference to established local boundaries. When a portion of a census tract is included within the boundaries of a supervisorial district and is described in this ordinance as that portion of the tract located within or outside the boundary of a city, a special district, a state park, or other entity with fixed boundaries, the boundaries of that supervisorial district within that census tract follow the fixed boundaries of those entities as those boundaries existed on July 26, 2011.
