§ 420-6.1004. Vault privies.

(a)

A privy vault must be prefabricated and certified by the manufacturer as watertight.

(b)

A vault privy may be constructed only on a site that conforms to the horizontal setbacks applicable to septic tanks.

(c)

A vault privy may be lawfully constructed only under a valid construction permit issued by the health officer in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section 420-6.808.

(d)

All work under a construction permit issued under this section must be inspected and approved by the health officer prior to use of the vault privy.
