§ 42-2.404. Emergency services policy board—Purposes, duties, meetings.
(a)
Purpose. The emergency services policy board is an advisory body providing assistance and advice to the county administrator, and as appropriate, to the director of emergency services on emergency preparedness planning efforts and the coordination of such planning efforts throughout the county.
(b)
Disaster Council. The emergency services policy board functions as the Contra Costa County disaster council.
(c)
Duties. The emergency services policy board shall review and make recommendations on emergency and mutual aid plans and agreements and such ordinances, resolutions and regulations as are necessary to implement such plans and agreements.
(d)
Meetings. The emergency services policy board shall meet at least quarterly, at a date and time determined by the county administrator, chair, or in his absence from the county or inability to act, the vice chair.
