§ 48-6.008. Applicant—Investigation.

  • Upon receipt of a completed application and the required fee, the permit officer shall make or cause to be made such investigation as the health officer deems necessary to determine if:

    (1)

    The public health, safety, welfare, convenience and necessity require the issuing of a permit;

    (2)

    The applicant is a responsible and proper person to conduct, operate or engage in this ambulance service;

    (3)

    The applicant meets the requirements of this division and of other applicable laws, ordinances and regulations; and

    (4)

    That the radio(s) in each vehicle is (are) installed pursuant to regulations adopted by the permit officer, and is (are) in good working order.
