Before he suspends, revokes or refuses to renew any permit, the sheriff shall hold
a hearing at which evidence will be received to determine what action, if any, should
be taken. Written notice of the grounds for the hearing, and its time and place, shall
be mailed to the permittee ten days prior to the hearing. Within seven days after
the hearing, the sheriff shall mail written notice of his decision to the permittee
or applicant.
