§ 54-10.002. Conviction of traffic sign vandals.
(a)
Pursuant to Section 26207 of the Government Code of the state of California, this county will pay a reward of one hundred dollars to any person who gives information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person who wilfully and unlawfully removes, damages, or destroys a county official traffic control device, as that term is defined in Section 440 of the Vehicle Code.
(b)
Any person claiming a reward under this section shall file a claim with the auditor. The claim shall be accompanied by a certification from the district attorney that the claimant is entitled to the reward provided in this section.
