The term "sensitive receptor" includes schools, general acute care hospitals, long-term
health care facilities, licensed day care facilities, and similarly less-mobile populations,
and detention facilities including jails, youth camps and other locked facilities.
These facilities have more than twelve people. For the purposes of this section, "general
acute care hospital" has the meaning set forth in Health and Safety Code Section 1250(a),
"long term health care facility" has the meaning set forth in Health and Safety Code
Section 1418(a), and "child day care facility" has the meaning set forth in Health
and Safety Code Section 1596.750. "School" means any school used for the purpose of
the education of more than twelve children in kindergarten or any grades one through
twelve, inclusive.
