§ 88-8.610. Projection restrictions.

  • (a)

    No sign or portion thereof, including towers, frames, or other protrusions considered part of a sign shall project above the eaves, facia, or parapet of the building on which it is placed.

    (b)

    No sign shall project more than one foot from a building except that a "shingle" sign may extend a maximum of six feet when placed under a canopy or overhang and shall not be less than eight feet above the sidewalk and shall not be more than five feet square in area.
