§ 98-8.204. Soil tests.

The subdivider, at his expense, may make tests of the soil over which the surfacing and base is to be constructed and furnish the test reports to the public works department for use in determining a preliminary structural design of the roadbed. Tests and pavement structural design will be made by the public works department after the payment of the inspection fee.
