§ 24-30.004. Director.

  • (a)

    The director of the department of conservation and development is the head of the department.

    (b)

    The powers and duties of the director of the department of conservation and development include, but are not limited to, the following:

    (1)

    The director is authorized to supervise all deputies and other employees of the department of conservation and development, subject to the provisions of this code, resolutions of the board of supervisors, and personnel rules.

    (2)

    The director has administrative control over the department of conservation and development. The director is responsible for recommending an annual budget for the department and exercising budgetary oversight for the department.

    (3)

    The director shall perform all other duties as provided by this code and the board of supervisors.
