§ 54-4.002. To sheriff.

  • No person shall knowingly:

    (1)

    Make or cause to be made any false or fictitious call or report to the office of the sheriff, that he was the victim of a criminal offense; or

    (2)

    Cause the sheriff's office to respond to any false or fictitious call or report; or

    (3)

    Request or cause to be requested any assistance or investigation in connection with or as a result of any false or fictitious call or report.
